What is the Knox County Cattlemen's Association?
The Knox County Cattlemen's Association is a grass roots organization run by cattlemen for the benefit of cattlemen. Members make the rules by which the Knox County Cattlemen's Association operates.
The strength of the Knox County Cattlemen's Association is in its membership. Through the members' participation and involvement, we will continue to promote the beef industry and support young people in various beef programs.
Objectives of the Knox County Cattlemen's Association
- To improve the profitability of all segments of the cattle and beef industries.
- To work for the well being of its members
- To promote a forum for study and action on issues affecting the cattle and beef industries
- To work closely with the Ohio Beef Council in promoting beef consumption and the sale of feeder calves.
Be proud of being a cattlemen!!!
The Cattlemen's Association is the fastest growing agricultural association in the State of Ohio. Your membership shows your concern and support for our industry. Never before has it been so important for you to be a part of your cattle organizations. The pressures and influences from outside our industry are so significant that no individual cattleman, small or large, can possibly handle them himself. Emerging technologies with animal identification and tracking, increased security and value-based marketing are just a few of the important issues facing our industry.
Thank you for your support!!
